Children Working Illegally/Forcefully

Child Labor

Child labor is one of the most commonly known forms of slavery. It is "practiced" in many different ways. In other countries like india and Africa and India if a family is in debt, they can sell there child as slaves. Also, children can be kidnapped and work illegally on farms, in sweat shops, etc. Today 250 million children between the ages of five and fourteen are being put to work against there own will.
In India and the countries around it, kid's are being put to work in sweat shops and in mines looking for coal or gems. I think it is wrong to have a child do work against there own will. When they are in the mines, it is a high risk factor, and they have a high chance of loosing there lives. Also they have to work in tight spaces which is bad for there bodies. Also they have to carrie heavy bricks on there heads, fro place to place. They could easily die if they can not stand the weight of the bricks, and collapse.
Child labor is also very common in the U.S. Over 150,000 kids are working illegally on the farms here. They are being kidnapped to work against there will. I believe that this is waisting there childhood and there youth. It is sickening to think that people would steal young children from there families to earn money for themselves. If they really want the crops to get tend to, why can't they just hire people who want to work? It would be legal and they could still earn the same money they would earn illegally with children.
